Our flight leaves at 8pm on New Year's Eve to go get our little girl! That is five days from now! Wow!!
We will fly into Mumbai, where her orphanage is. Then, on January 3, we will finally get to meet our precious Eve Sherry! The next day, we will fly to New Delhi with her to complete some appointments. Then we'll fly back home on January 9, returning home on the 10th. India is 10.5 hours ahead of us.
We are absolutely thrilled to meet our wonderful girl. The emotions involved with this whole process are overwhelming at times! We have lots of prayer requests!:
-Please pray for Eve's heart as we meet her and take her away from the only home she's ever known. It will be quite the adjustment for her (and us all!).
-Please also pray for Levi, Vada, and Oliver while we are away. They are used to being with us everyday. We are asking God to help them and Russ and Becky as they watch them.
-Please pray for safe travels and that things would go as smoothly as possible while we are in India. We are hoping to avoid "Delhi belly" (traveler's diarrhea)!
-Pray that we have opportunities to share Jesus's love with those around us.
