Slowly but Surely...

Well, it's August and we're still working on saving money for our first installment of program fees. The good news is that we're almost there! Hopefully by the end of the month, we will have the full $3,300.

After we submit that amount, we will begin preparing for our home study. This involves lots of paperwork, more money, and a social worker interviewing us in our home. Once that is complete, we can apply for grants, which will hopefully help cover a large amount of the adoption costs.

Each day that passes brings us one day closer to bringing home our little girl! We pray that God continues to provide and that He will protect Eve and guide us to her. When he prays, Oliver thanks God for Eve. He will be such a good big brother. ;o)
