Busy, busy

We've been busy working on our home study. We completed eleven hours of online training, with more to come later. The home study also includes collecting copies of birth certificates, our marriage license, driver's licenses, insurance information, our dog (Sprout)'s vaccination records, etc. We also have to have several background checks completed, doctor visits to ensure health, lab work to test for HIV and Hepatitis B, and psychological evaluations.

We're hoping to meet with our home study coordinator soon for our first meeting with her. We'll need to meet with her three or four times to finalize the home study. After all that, we begin working on the dossier, which is all the paperwork that will be sent to India. After India reviews and approves our information, we wait to be referred to a child. It's a slow process, but we will do whatever we have to do to bring home our little girl! Thank you for your prayers and support!
